The Source Group is a Greenville South Carolina-based company that prides itself on doing just what our name says. We are “the Source” for Exhibits, store fixtures, office environment interiors, signage, and graphics. We don’t stop there. We also pride ourselves on being the company that can help create as well as construct your special projects. We work hand-in-hand with our clients to make their ideas a reality.

The Source Group is the creation of Gene Hawkins. Gene attended the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL. After college Gene was hired at a local NBC affiliate in Greenville. He was instrumental in the creation and design as well as the construction of all of the sets for commercials and broadcasts. During this period he also worked with numerous other companies to create sets, displays and scenery for on-location productions. After many years at the NBC affiliate Gene realized the need for a company that could work with all types of advertising and marketing companies as well as work with internal marketing departments to create, design and build all types of special projects, including specialty signage, displays, and everything in between. Gene’s innovation and ability to visualize and create anything started in his garage over 12 years ago. He was “The Source” for companies to get their projects completed. What was once a small start-up company is now a thriving business that works with leaders in both the marketing and advertising fields, as well as many fortune 500 companies.

Much has changed in 12 years. Many employees have been added, a 50,000+ square foot production facility and offices have replaced the garage, and the projects have become much more elaborate than the old days. The one thing that hasn’t changed is how we help our clients and the fact that we still pride ourselves on being “The Source” they count on day after day.
